Zorgvliet Country Lodge offers guests splendid grandeur and warm hospitality at Zorgvliet Wine Estate in the Cape Winelands.

Zorgvliet Wine Estate is located between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. It is ideal for business travellers, wedding parties or a holiday break away with easy access to the surrounding wine farms.

Zorgvliet’s welcoming Country Lodge caters for the needs of every individual.  This Lodge offers guests an opportunity to truly experience the unique personality of the Stellenbosch winelands, from service and hospitality, through to accommodation and dining. Friendly service and attention to detail are the core of your experience at Zorgvliet.

Our rooms are spacious, comfortable, luxurious and individually decorated. Our Lodge features a private lounge and outdoor swimming pool area. For other activities on the farm, we offer wine tastings and have a picnic area that will provide the perfect spot to unwind during your stay.

Two Standard Double rooms (room nrs 1 & 2) and Seven Superior Double en-suite rooms (rooms 3 – 9) that can accommodate 2 guests each.
One Loft room (room 14) that can accommodate 2 guests
One Private suite (room nr 10) that can accommodate 2 guests
Two, two bedroom, one bathroom units that can accommodate 4 guests (room nrs 12 & 13)
One, three bedroom, two bathroom unit that can accommodate 6 guests (room nr 11)
A swimming pool area that provides a relaxing spot to unwind and enjoy the sunset

Booking Confirmation

Provisional reservations are valid for 48hours only. To confirm your reservation a 50% deposit is required. The payment is to be made into our bank account (details below) or alternatively please provide us with your credit card details.

Terms & Conditions:

Confirmation: Only upon receipt of deposit slip and written confirmation by fax or email can your provisional booking be confirmed. We will confirm all bookings by email or fax after receiving the deposit.

Cancellation/Moving Policy: Thirty or more days before arrival: 50% of the deposit will be forfeited. Between seven and thirty days before arrival: 75% of deposit will be forfeited. Anything less than seven days before arrival: 100% of deposit will be forfeited.

Rates: Confirmed bookings will not be affected by any changes to our rates. We reserve the right to alter our rates depending on applicable criteria. Rates quoted include breakfast and VAT.

Arrival and Departure Time: Arrival Day: From 14h00 (unless other arrangements have been made) Arrivals later than 18h00 by arrangement. Please supply us with the necessary contact details. Departure Day: By 10h00

Pets: Pets are not allowed

Smoking: Please note that this is a non-smoking establishment, and smoking will only be allowed outdoors. A recovery fee will be added to your bill, should you smoke within the room.

Breakages: The client is liable for any losses, breakages or damages of any kind on the premises.

Reservation Deposits: A deposit of 50% of the Total Reservation Value is required to confirm a booking. Proof of payment is to be forwarded by fax or e-mail when making a booking.

Reservation Balances: The outstanding balance of the Total Reservation Value shall be paid on or before the date of arrival

Final Accounts: Payment of any outstanding accounts occurred during a stay is to be paid prior to departure.

Joiner or additional guests: Should you have booked a single room but have a person join you for an overnight stay, a joiner fee is charged to your bill. This fee entitles your guest to breakfast as well.  

Credit card payment: Facilities are available.

VAT: All prices quoted include VAT.

Indemnity: The owners, managers and staff members of Zorgvliet do not take any responsibility for any of the guests’ belongings or any injury, damage or loss suffered by any persons. The guest accordingly indemnifies Zorgvliet Wine Estate against any claim arising out of the loss or damage to any such belongings and the guest waives any claim it may have.
