The Gooding Country House - Self Catering accommodation on a working olive farm between Bonnievale & McGregor, Route 62,  Cape Winelands, Western Cape

The Gooding Country House is situated on the Boesmans River Olive Farm in the Breede River Valley between the historical towns of Bonnievale, McGregor,and the popular Robertson winelands (Please note that this property is not in the Franschhoek region). 

An olive grove of 3 000 mature olive trees, fynbos and renosterveld - home to the blue Crane, picturesque river banks, shady forests and spectacular mountains are there for you to explore.

The Country House

Ideal for families and for romantic getaways, the house itself is fully equipped including all bedding and towels and all 3 bedrooms are en-suite, 1 with a shower/bath combo and 2 with showers. Sleeps six. The lounge, dining and kitchen area is a lovely open plan with fireplace and our kitchen is fully equipped including a gas top and electric oven.

There is a braai on the veranda overlooking the infinity pool, garden, dam and the lower olive groves. 

A satellite dish and television screen is provided for guests who wish to bring their own decoders and smart cards. The Country House has a WIFI connection and an alarm system.

Hartbeeshuisie

The Hartbeeshuisie is a basic historical cottage, situated in the olive grove, about 100 metres from the Country House. The cottage has one queen bedroom en-suite with a small lounge and kitchenette, braai facilities on the veranda and WIFI. Sleeps two.

Rates:  2 guests R1000 per night  / 4 guests R1200 per night

Kasteeltjie

A spacious one roomed unit with queen-bed, dining and lounge area with sleeper couch for children. There is a separate bathroom with shower and outside-shower, and a kitchenette, braai area, beautiful views and wifi.
