De Liefde Farm Cottage - Self Catering Farm Cottage in Prince Alfred's Hamlet, near Ceres, Cape Winelands, Western Cape
Welcome to De Liefde Farm Cottage! We would love to introduce you to the Ceres valley, named after the Roman goddess of fertility, renowned for producing some of the best quality fruit in the world. Approximately 160km north-east from Cape Town, the Ceres valley is the source of the Breede- and Olifants rivers.
Located just 8km outside Ceres, en route to Citrusdal, is the small town of Prince Alfred Hamlet - if you blink you might miss it - our luxury self-catering cottage is nestled between the orchards in this picturesque village.
Farming roots run deep in our family and Graaff Fruit is a third generation family business. Robert's grandmother, Ena Graaff, always dreamed of creating a getaway cottage on the farm, hence the idea of the De Liefde Cottage. Robert and Judy Graaff decided to convert the farm worker's home into a guesthouse for the discerning visitor to experience life on the farm as they do...
