Amakhala Self Catering in Montagu

The house has a spacious, open-plan kitchen, dining and living room with fire place, a large, flat-screen TV, DVD player and DSTV. Bring your decoder for extended channel viewing. 

The kitchen is very well equipped with most implements you would need for a comfortable self catering holiday, including a water purifier for guest use. Laundry Services can be provided by arrangement.

The master bedroom has bay windows, access to the veranda, a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The cozy middle room has two 3/4 size beds and shares a bathroom with a larger room with a king size bed and bay windows. There is ample cupboard space in all rooms. All beds in the house are reported to be extremely comfortable and winter sheets are used when the weather cools down.

There is an enclosed garden on the south side with a spacious, covered veranda, a pool and basic BBQ facilities. The north facing veranda has magnificent views of our highest peak Blou Punt and provides welcome shade on a summer morning.

Views on both sides are spectacular and the wonderful thing is you can be up in the hills in just 10 minutes or less!

The generously proportioned indoor and outdoor spaces allow for peace and quiet or, if you prefer, a wonderful party atmosphere! We only ask that celebrations take the neighbours into consideration and volume is normalized by 10 or 11 pm.

Directions:

From Long Street, turn into Barry Street. At the first stop street, cross over Bath St, turn second left into Mill Street, over the river then, slightly up the road, left again into Berg Street (also labeled Mount Street).
Continue down Berg Street until you get to the 'Piet se Pad' sign. We are on the left, no 41
